Britsh Naval Cutlass 1804/ 1845.
1845 British naval cutlass with what seems to be a grip from an 1804 model British naval cutlass. Grip is very worn due to extensive use. Single edge blade, uncleaned and slightly curved, sharpened on both sides 23cm from the tip. Black painted, cast iron knuckle bowl worn.
Blade solid in hilt. Rattle on knuckle guard. Extensive wear on grip, consistent with age.
Blade dark aged patina overall.
