A lovely quality 18thC bust of Christ carved from lime wood, the bust has a fantastic bronze like patina and is mounted upon a turned ebonised socle.
The attention to detail on this piece is amazing, the workmanship is very intricate especially around the crown of thorns and the hair and the robes having neatly carved folds.
The bust is in excellent condition.
