Antique Victorian Mahogany Estate Cupboard
This estate cupboard looks to date from the mid-nineteenth century. It is constructed from solid mahogany with double doors that open to reveal a single adjustable wooden shelf inside. The doors have a single replacement handle, and the door with the handle has a brass edge.
Condition: Overall this piece is in usuable condition but does have some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing, scratching, knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected, which is heavy in places, and the piece is overall a little faded. There are some areas of wood loss to the doors. The door catches have some losses and do not work as intended. The shelf inside has some heavy wear.
