A superb quality matched pair of 19th century broad arm and hooped high back Windsor chairs in beautifully figured Yew wood with elm seats. The stunning splats are almost certainly the signature of Allsop & Son of Workshop in Nottinghamshire. The chairs are in excellent condition and very comfortable and have a warm patina.
