The makers Edward Edward Jr John & William Barnard origin is possibly the oldest manufacturing silversmith in the world, originally established by Anthony Nelme c. 1680. Connection with the Barnard family can be traced from 1773. Operated as Edward Barnard & Sons 1829-1910
Hallmarked:
Lion head for London.
The Lion Passant for solid silver
All are date letter "U" for 1835
Makers mark EEJBW for Edward, Edward Jr, John and William Barnard
