16 Drawer Oak School Lab Bank of Drawers C1940
From the Head of Science, this rather wonderful and impressive set of school drawers are from the School of St Marys and St Annes - so good to know where pieces like this were once used. It is without doubt a striking set of 16 drawers – large enough to impress but small enough to place practically.
We have four flights of four graduated drawers with a decent sized plinth all in nicely aged English oak and running smoothly. The top is a decent slice of aged teak – a pleasing contrast. We have genuine aging and marks to drawers and the top but nothing nasty or new. We have waxed the runners on the drawers, the back is original, good and as it should be. We have an aged split to the right hand side but again not new, nasty or a concern. Clean inside and smells fine! Overall it’s a rather tremendous piece. Worth noting these pieces are getting more difficult to find of this scale and with the bonus of provenance…
Worth remembering this one even with the drawers out is very heavy and we have assigned a two person carrier with this piece however even then a little guidance placing the piece would be required.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions
If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.
On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
