A Mid 17th Oak And Iron Bound Strong Box.

The top with great signs of wear to the front with five iron straps ,the sides with carrying handles and straps and the front with four straps and hasp.

Of good size and colour and patina.

The base board has been turned around as this box has seen a fire in its life so the inside of the box shows this and the iron band to the base is later,this was done when the base was turned.
