18th Century Antique Ash Writing Desk / Chest
A beautiful Georgian antique writing chest, unusually made in solid ash wood timbers that have fabulous figuring and a wonderful original colour. English and dating to around 1770, this antique writing chest has pull out lopers that support the writing slope, beneath are two short drawers over two long and graduating drawers, they are all cock beaded and have the lovely original brass handles. In excellent condition throughout, a very honest piece that stands on four shaped bracket feet and is complete with working lock and key.
