Pretty rounded lozenge shape South Staffordshire enamel snuff box with a lilac-blue ground and geometric pattern to the lid of diamonds in white, pale pink and lilac-blue. Additional decoration of raised white beaded borders, gilded dotted borders and painted dark green pattern to the centre and around the edge of the pink diamond.

It measures 5cm (2 1/2") long, 3cm (1 3/16") wide and 2cm (3/4") high. Condition is very good there is a small patch of over-painting to the base (the enamel underneath seems fine and no signs of repair inside) and the brass mount has been reattached to the base. Light surface wear and just a few fine hairlines in the enamel on the base. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
