We have for sale a charming 1930s bee themed Crown Devon pottery honeypot.

This cream coloured honeypot is in the form of a square beehive with a honeycome patterned finish and a gently conical lid extending to a bee shaped finial. Each side of the honeypot is also decorated with a bee a flying bee and mint green leaves to the lower corners. The base carries a Crown Devon mark.

The honeypot is 5 inches (12.7cm) wide, 5 inches (12.7cm) deep and approximately 4 inches (10.1cm) high and is in a very good condition with no chips cracks or repairs, although there is the craquelure to the glaze and slight discolouration to the interior one would expect of a 80-90 year old piece of Crown Devon pottery
