So very fortunate to have found 8 of these in the West Country. The slender, well cut and designed oak frames work well with the supple muted pistachio coloured leather hide. All very much in the mood of the era and with a leaning towards the look of Gordon Russell but no maker's mark.

We have those attractive finger joints to the arms and that gentle slant and angle to the well coloured oak frame making them a little more reserved than some from the same era. Altogether very attractive and usable…

Workshop report – The chairs sit in good order with age marks and knocks to the solid oak frames and arms but nothing out of character. The calf leather not vinyl is soft and supple and of lovely quality – we have the odd nip to the edges at the backs but otherwise good sensible use and comfortable.

The chairs C1960-70s are ready to use and we have 8 matching in similar condition. Price is for one delivered, not all eight.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
