These finely detailed French silver ice / sugar tongs measure approx 15 cm (6 inches) long, with a lovely lions paw design.
They are made of a good gauge of silver, weighing approx 62g.
They are fully hallmarked with the French Minerva mark and are marked for the silver smith Francois Pamphile Jozan, Paris, dating them to 1836-1847.
