19th C Japanese Imperial Satsuma Bowl
We are selling this wonderful quality Japanese Imperial Satsuma bowl. The deep blue outside is decorated with raised gold flowers and foilage. The centre of the bowl - a work of art! flowering chrysanthamums in reds, green enamels and golds with a golden carp. The inner scalloped edge decorated again with raised gold flowers and scrolls. The base signed with the mon of satsuma. This piece has come from a large private collection which we have recently purchased and been in the same family home for many years.
Measuring 9 1/2 inches in diameter and height of 4 1/2 inches and in lovely original condition.
