19th century Pearlware jug early Prattware colours
A wonderful early 19th century Pearlware jug decorated in a typical, Prattware colour palette against a delightful brown Batavian ground.
Probably Staffordshire or North East Pottery circa 1810.
The jug displays beautifully however it has been restored, probably extensively and varnished.
The jug has been restored well but there is no denying it has been restored.
The restoration does however provide the chance to own an excellent piece which displays well, and would command a very high price had it not been for the restoration.
