A 19th Century Set Of Library Steps steps  pitch pine carved %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This beautifully made set of steps are constructed in well grained pitch pine and incorporate fine details into their design including carved brackets supporting the treads and further detail in the risers. The top step is hinged to give further depth and the hand rail is reminiscent of a walking cane. In good condition and with original patina. 1625mm overall height, 1035mm to the top step, 900mm deep and 525mm wide. Circa 1860.
