A fabulous,fine quality, individually made hinged dome cover jewel casket in silver coloured metal (unmarked) weighing approximately 18.5 troy ounces. The hinged cover has a twist pattern handle with applied strap decoration with the Royal Crest applied to the centre of the front and an eagle crest to the back. To one side of the handle is an applied rose motif and to the other side is a thistle. The front of the box has a raised eschucheon to key hole and to one side is an applied rose and the other a shamrock. The rear of the box has an applies thistle to the centre with a rose to one side and a shamrock to the other. May have been a presentation piece.
