A fine figured walnut and brass molded vanity box by Asprey with sliver fittings and original lining. Hallmarked "Asprey 166 Bond Street" Makers mark "TJ" Thomas Johnson and date marked 1851. 135mm high, 240mm wide and 185mm deep. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
