A rare English twin fusee 18th century dial wall antique clock. A 12 3/4" silvered dial with blued steel hands and rare feature of rise and fall pendulum adjuster and scale below X11. A mahogany case with a convex and concave moulded wooden bezel surround. A double fusee mechanism striking the hours on a bell. A lovely old Victorian repairers label on the side door from London. This antique clock dates to circa 1775. Silvered dial wall antique clocks were the first examples made and this is a fine example.

Edward Tulet of Fenchurch Street, London was a master of the Clockmakers Company in 1786. He is recorded in Brittens' 'Old Clocks and Watches & Their Makers' book as working from 1760-1794.
