The interior of this stationery box is original. A blue leather slope lifts to reveal a leather letter board embossed with the logo of Parkins & Gotto Oxford Street and a seperate blue leather bound blotter. The three original porcerlain tablets which were used for writing aide memoirs are bound in blue leather lift to reveal a stationery compartment with original Parkins & Gotto rule and page turner. A leather cased traveling inkwell and lift out mahogany pen & nib trays have secret compartments beneath. The box has a Bramah lock and key, with military carrying handle. The outside has some wear and was probably leather bound. 14 1/4" W x 9 3/4" D x 6" H
