A rarer example of a 'Royal Polytechnic' Admiral Fitzroy barometer. An oak case with chamfered mouldings and carved detailing. The original 'remarks' weather forecasting details in good condition. Twin vernier adjusters to the main dial with large bore mercury tube. A storm tube and thermometer. Circa 1890.
