Ambroise-Louis Garneray 2 Hand Coloured Aquatints
Ambroise-Louis Garneray 2 Hand Coloured Aquatints of New Orleans and Philadelphia c1840's signed Garneray sc Lower Right. Plate Size
42 cm x 31.5 cm Tipped in Mount. sheet Size 64 cm x 49 cm approx
Both are in first class condition and framed. The framing was carried out in Santa Barbara California by Ashleys Frame Shop, that no longer exists. My guess is they were framed 30 or 40 years ago. How they made it to England is not known. The Frame Wood and Guilded and fitted with non breakable glass so we would be very happy to send them, ordinarily glass is always a worry. We have been dealing in antiques for over 4o years and gained a vast amount of knowledge. We carry out research for most of our items giving our customers some history to their purchases.
We welcome collections especially clocks because of their delicate nature, however delivery can always be arranged.
Our business has recently been relocated to Horncastle from Scotland where we were known as West Bay Homes and Antiques changing our name due to location.
As we sometimes get called away please ring first if travelling from a distance to see us to avoid disappointment.
