Antique Chinese Hardwood Daybed c1820 Produced in China around 1820 a hardwood and rattan daybed Featuring hand carved panels and with round rattan pillow Beautiful warm tones, best describes the colour of this early 19th century , carved on the end of is a longevity symbol. The rattan seat is stringing, this wooden opium smoking bed, bamboo bark canning is From shaanxi provence in China. The daybed is in very good condition with earlier restorations, the cane seat and stringing looks to have been replaced. This beautiful piece of antique furniture is perfect for anyone who wants to add a touch of luxury to their home.
