This vintage powder compact is suitable for use with loose & pressed /solid face powders or as a handbag mirror.
This is a very beautiful Stratton powder compact made between 1962 - 1965. An enamel Stratton '10-Sided Convertible' compact in superb condition. The lid is decorated with lustrous royal blue enamel & it is has a diamond cut star motif surrounded by a gilt incised border. There isn't any enamel loss & the whole compact is in excellent condition. The original signed puff & sifter are in place which means this compact can be used with both loose & solid / pressed modern face powders. The puff & sifter are pristine - they have never been used - the original instruction leaflet too. The mirror is excellent & gives a perfect reflection. The mirror bezel is signed 'STRATTON MADE IN ENGLAND PAT. 764125'. The base is decorated with the all over star pattern. This compact comes protected with a signed Stratton pouch.
This vintage compact measures 3 1/4 " & weighs 92.4 grams.
