Oak Coopered Costrel, also known as a Keg, Firkin or Bevy.
During the 19th century farm workers were paid in part by having a daily rashion of Ale or Cider. The barrels were filled every morning & hung from the wagon on the way down to the fields. If no wagon was working that day they hung them from their belts. One could call them the original hip flask. Some historic worm to one end as can be seen in photo. This has been treated as a precaution.
After being in the business for over 55 years we have made the decision to retire.
We are offering up to 50% discount on most items.
