This is a large quality antique French ceiling light which dates from around 1920. The hanging light is in figured alabaster in a wonderful range of warm amber shades which looks particularly lovely with light coming through it. It is suspended from three gilt metal chains and has its original fittings and gilt ceiling cup, as well as three extra sections which can be added to give it a longer drop. This is in excellent ready to hang condition with modern braided cable. The ceiling light is 60 cms high overall, and goes to 75 cms with the extra pieces in. The alabaster bowl of the light is 45 cms wide and 14 cms deep.
