Antique Georgian style mahogany bureau bookcase in excellent condition & dating from around the 1950’s period. It has double arched astral-glazed doors, with adjustable bookshelves inside. The writing section has a fine array of small drawers, a cupboard & pigeon holes, plus a tooled leather writing surface. Below that are four drawers with original pierced brass handles & it sits on bracket feet. The front of this piece is mainly flame mahogany, with some cross banding around the writing flap. This bureau bookcase is very fine quality & it comes apart into two sections for easy transportation.
