A very special piece - Beautifully made in a super Antique condition this gorgeous Solid Silver Cigarette Case, fully hallmarked by Arthur & John Zimmerman , assayed in Birmingham 1899, has an enamel panel to the top which depicts a pair of red haired beautiful dancers, partly dressed this would have been incredibly risque for the period. Slimline, measuring c. 3.1/8" (7.9cm) x 1.5/8" inch (4.1cm) wide, all clasps and hinges are in good order, snapping shut perfectly and opening to reveal a nice clean interior. It is also engraved with the initials M.L.W and the date 1900, Some very minor signs (couple of teeny weeny pings to the rear) of having been pre-loved which in my opinion do not detract, it is in overall great condition, commensurate with age, a fine investment piece that will not disappoint!.
