Antique silver pocket watch chain, GER railway fob
Antique silver pocket watch chain and railway fob.
The chain measures 35cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The T-bar is silver but is not hallmarked. The clasp is marked ‘silver’. Each of the links has the lion silver mark.
Also attached is a shorter length of chain with a Great Eastern Railway silver and enamel fob. There is some enamel loss. The back of the fob has the dragon’s wing associated with GER, and the year of 1922, together with a maker’s mark for the silversmiths J G Gaunt & Son.
Total weight 31g.
