Antique Taxidermy Stags Head
This is a good, imposing French stags head mounted on a solid oak shield dating from around 1900. The taxidermy is a large head and neck mount with the stag displayed looking slightly to the right. It is very well modelled and is in very good order, with original taxidermists plaque still attached. The stag measures 52 cms wide, point to point and is 135 cms high by 60 cms deep. The shield measures 60 cms by 45 cms .
