Art Deco Frosted Glass Vase with Flower Frog, c.1930s Art Deco Glass Vase %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
This is a striking Art Deco Frosted Pale Blue Glass Vase from the 1930s. The vase has a square base with the body of the vase being an inverted pyramid with geometric line decoration. The frog has a large central hole, four smaller holes and notches around the rim to form further holes when in place in the vase.

It isn't marked, which is normal, but is very much in keeping with Sowerby or Bagley glass of the period and is most likely to be English.

Condition of the vase is generally good with just two tiny nibbles on one edge. The frog has a larger chip on the underside of the central core, which is not visible when the vase is in use, and a hairline crack next to one of the outer holes. It does however remain securely intact. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The vase stands 13.2cm / 5.2ins high and is 9.6cm / 3.8ins square across the top rim. It weighs 540g / 19oz.

Shipping in the UK is £6.50 by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Parcel Post.
