We have for sale the perfect gift for the lover of yea. A very striking art deco silver tea strainer.
This lovely deco tea strainer consists of a bowl extending at either end to lovely angular art deco handles incorporating an engraved design. The tea strainer carries FullEnglish hallmarks for Birmingham 1937 along with the makers marks W.N - most probably for William Neal of Old Street Coventry .
The tea strainer is 4.5 inches (11.4cm) long from handle to handle, the bowl is 2.5 inches (6.3cm) in diameter and the tea strainer is 0.75 inches (1.9cm0 high. The tea strainer weighs 34.6g according to our digital scales and is in a very good condition with clear but shallow hallmarks and makers marks and only the surface wear one would expect from a well but carefully used tea strainer of this period.
