Who doesn’t need extra storage? This great linen press offers plenty of storage space.

Behind the impressive pair of doors can be found four open slide drawers. To the lower section the classic arrangement of 2 over 2 deep drawers.

The whole being constructed of solid oak and now refinished with Danish oil to these pleasing warm tones. Striking, decorative copper hinge plates to the doors of typical flowing designs of the period. Plate handles to the drawers with the lower pair having been replaced at sometime in the past. Not identical but of the period and we feel part of the history to this press.

Made by A. Gardner & Son, 36 Jamaica Street, Glasgow circa 1890/1900

A heavy and robust piece of antique furniture built to last, ready for immediate use and separates into two sections to aide placement in the home.
