A beautiful desk-top magnifying glass with a thick piece of period Tortoiseshell used for the handle with pretty pique inlay to the front.

The ferrule joining the handle to the lens frame is sterling silver fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1922.

The nickel framed lens is of course new created an undamaged magnifier without damage and with an excellent magnification.

Excellent condition measuring 5 3/4" in length with a glass diameter measuring 2 1/2".
