We've just had this French polished at considerable expense but it's been worth it.
Boasting fine quality Cuban mahogany marquetry work throughout.
A distinctive Biedermeier pagoda top above the fall flap enclosed a fitted interior briefly comprising writing surface, carved miniature drawers and cupboard enclosed more drawers. Fitted four long graduated drawers above and below with dovetailed jointing. Raised on carved feet.
A heavy piece that dismantles to two sections for ease of movement.
