This is a beautiful GEC version of the 200 series office telephone. Used originally to switch calls from a reception to an office department. This was as new and so polished up to perfection. As you can see it is a stunning telephone retaining its original handset cord. The switching mechanism has been removed to allow a small bell to be fitted inside. This has been wired to allow the large lever switch to act as a "bell on bell off". The bell is not very loud but very clear and ideal in a dinning room, bedroom or drawing room but maybe not in a hall way. This is a wonderful telephone and as good as you will ever find. this telephone has been stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has been set up on a special line tester and then tested on my own BT line to make sure it is working perfectly. It has been fitted with an electronic microphone and a GPO specification round plastic line in with a UK telephone plug socket. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
