This is a very nice example of a GPO 328L with drawer. It has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It is a very desirable "bell on bell off" model and has been wired to work perfectly and retains the original switch mechanism. It has been fitted with a best quality all British manufactured hand plaited braided handset cord, a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket and a very best quality electronic microphone to bring the speech quality up to modern standards. It has been full tested on a special line simulator and then on my own BT land line to make sure it is working perfectly. The handset is dated 1938 and was Factory refurbished in 1965 hence the early handset. It has a genuine GPO No12 alpha numeric dial. The handset has some minor browning but only seen in very bright conditions. I have priced it with that taken into account. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
