A pretty Bloor period Derby porcelain dessert plate from a bespoke service, enamelled with a rich apple green ground band framed in gilt and finely painted with a botanical floral specimen of a spray of Sweet William, named on the reverse in red script, along with small scattered insects. A small reserve within the green ground is painted with an armorial of the coronet of a marquess over the letter "B". Gadrooned rim and red Bloor Derby stamp to the underside, c.1825.

It measures 22.2cm (8 3/4") wide and 2.5cm (1") high.

In excellent condition with no damage or repair and minor handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
