Unusual giltwood coffee table. 24″ x 48″ oval top in 8mm thick glass with a moulded edge. On a shapely giltwood base of two crossed frames with sinous carved detail and scrolling acanthus terminals top and bottom. Joined with metal brackets on the plain rear side. Very attractive mellow gilt fininsh, worn in places to reveal the red ground below.
