A stylish Art Deco silver plated Champagne bucket / wine cooler made by the famous Parisian silversmith, Christofle, signed on the underside with the little chess mark flanked by the letters O and C for Orfèvrerie Christofle.

Created for the Champagne house of Pommery and Greno, founded in 1858 by Alexandre Louis Pommery and Narcisse Greno.

The ribbed body and simple modernist handles take elements of a similar Champagne bucket designed for Christofle by the designer, Luc Lanel.

Excellent condition having just returned from our silversmith's workshop having been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory, dating to c.1940.

9" handle to handle x 7 1/2" x 8" tall.
