A good quality Chester silver box.

Fully marked for 1908 makers mark Colen Hewer Cheshire. The inside rim of the lid is also marked.

The front of the box is decorated with the initial ‘M’

Super quality hinge opens and shuts well. Thinking it may have been a soap holder, but could have had and could still have a number of uses.

Weight 130.7 g 4.61 ozs

It is in good used condition, see picture 4 where they is very slight evidence that it may have suffered a little bit of damage.
