Offered for sale is a Coalport figurine in the series "La Belle Epoque" entitled "Sophie" "Promenading on the Champs Elysees". Inspired by the famous French era of fashion and frivolity, Sophie is dressed in a wonderful predominately white gown with matching hat and parasol finished with accents of peach tones, her parasol is trimmed with gold and has a gold shaft.
Designed by Shirley Curzon and sculptured by John Bromley, it was retailed by Compton & Woodhouse and was issued in 1991 as a limited edition of 12,500 of which this is numbered 5,315. Delivery Options (under 2kg)
