Danish Silver Caddy Spoon, 1956
This Danish silver caddy spoon features a plain bowl, with a cast art nouveau influenced floral design to the front of the handle.

The caddy spoon is fully hallmarked with the Danish .925 silver hallmark of three towers, under which is the number "56" for 1956. It also bears the maker's mark of an entwined "H" and "S" for Horsens Sølvvarefabrik.
All hallmarks are crisp and clear.

Horsens Sølvvarefabrik was founded in 1904 by two brothers - Sofus A and S P Winter Sørenson. The company was taken over by a son and son-in-law in 1944 after the death of Sofus (Winter died in 1932). It was during this tenure this spoon was made. In 1984 the company was bought by Cohr Sølvvarefabrik who still trade today.

The caddy spoon is 11.6 cm (4.6") long. It weighs 25 grams.
All measurements are approximate.
The caddy spoon is in very good condition.
