Early 19th Cent Rosewood Striking Fusee Wall Clock clock wall clock fusee %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A most attractive rosewood dial antique clock dating from around 1840. The dial is signed for William Bullock of Bath, he is listed as working there from 1791 to 1846.

The case is in nicely figured rosewood and it is profusely inlaid with mother of pearl. It has a cast brass bezel and sight ring.

The good quality twin fusee movement strikes the hours on a bell. It has a particularly attractive hands in fleur de lease pattern.

The case is in overall good condition with all mother of pearl inlay present and undamaged, The two side doors have been replaced and the door at the bottom of the trunk may have also been replaced but it is veneered in rosewood and matches the rest of the case perfectly.

The fusee movement is in good working order and keeping good time.

The maximum dimensions are:

69cm (27") high
42cm (16.5") wide
15cm (6") deep
