Early 19th.c. oak dresser base from South Wales c.1800. Useful small dimensions, just 63″ wide and 16″ deep. Two plank top with a plate stand over three drawers and two cupboards arranged around an open ‘dog kennel’ centre. Moulded edges to the drawer fronts and period brass handles. Cockbeaded and arched apron to the centre, twin panelled doors. Well figured elm side panels and floor boards. With repairs to the back corners of the top. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
