An early 20th century leather travelling frame for a portrait miniature.

Could also have been used for a framed photograph at this time.

The leather is in good antique used condition, but no major losses. The inside is lined in cream silk and velvet, which although it it showing some signs of discolouration is in very good order.

The stand on the back has lost the little pull on the back, but the stand still works. Under the stand on the cream silk is Brook & Son Goldsmiths to the King, 87 George Street, Edinburgh.
