A labelled, Ercol Windsor open armchair, Model 317, known as the Grandfather’s high back armchair, in Ercol’s Old Colonial finish with beech spindles and frame plus the added benefit of a solid wood, adzed seat. Now presented with some of the original 1970s linen covers beneath the as new replacement covers by Plumbs in an attractive heavy-duty fabric of trailing orange flowers on a cream background – a mixture of acrylic, polyester and cotton.

In lovely original, solid condition with no loose joints and patina commensurate with age and use, with some wear to the arms where used to assist rising from the armchair.
