Circa 1880. Exhibition quality large brass-bound Oak Silver trunk. Bearing a shaped brass plaque to lid “J.D. McJannet and with unusual quality large brass corners, deep brass strapping and inset military handles all over a plinth base. The Interior with two removable trays and velvet lined interior. Bearing two brass locks stamped “Chubb and Co.” “Makers to the Queen”. With unique identification of each lock nos “740643” and “740644”. The ultimate coffee table!
