A fine and early Georgian mahogany tripod table. The table is made of solid Cuban Mahogany with a single piece top and is very robust. The base has a good turned baluster stem, with unusual cup collar and three well shaped legs with a nice step at the knee. The base has a great original colour and patina, the top has been cleaned at some time but still has a good rich colour and patina, The table is in great original condition and a fine example of this classic of English antique furniture. C.1760.
