This is a very beautiful and fine Kashmir rug fromNorth West India made of fine wool and silk with a high knot count. The rug has a central medallion in a deep brick red field, surrounded by a deep border. It is in excellent condition save for some depletions to the fringe as photographed. The rug is a good size, measuring 270cm by 149cm.
