This fine pair of French carved walnut framed fauteuils feature a serpentine shaped apron front that continues with the tapestry design and stand on carved cabriole supports. The chairs have the original ornate and highly detailed tapestry design, depicting classical figures in a garden setting. Each chair measures 33 ½ in – 85 cm deep, 27 in – 68.5 cm wide and 38 in – 96.5 cm in height, with a seat height of 18 ½ in – 47 cm.
